Pregnancy Announcement

Guess what...?!?!?! We're pregnant!!! We're so happy to announce that our family is growing and our little bundle of joy will be here on December 25! That's right-- a Christmas baby!

Being that I'm a little over the top with everything, I wanted to announce this wonderful news to everyone in a fun way! Brace yourself for my plethora of pregnancy announcements!

As soon as I found out, I ran to the store and bought an iron on transfer and onesie. I made this cute little shirt for my angler enthusiast husband and wrapped it up!

To break the news to my brother and his wife, I did a quick wardrobe change while I was babysitting their two year old son. He just walked through the door wearing this shirt that says "Guess what? I'm gonna be a BIG cousin!" It was too funny watching their reaction as they read the shirt!

We sent this picture to my family to break the news! There's me on the left and my sister-in-law on the right and her son (same cutie pie in the picture above). We're 10 weeks apart so it will be fun to have all the crazy cousins reeking havoc together!

These are just some extra pictures we took for fun! Maybe I went a little overboard, but it's was just too fun telling everyone in a unique way! I can't wait to share this journey with you all!

Monogram Obsessed...part 589,301!

OK OK. I know. I have a huge monogram addiction obsession. I can't stop buying monogram things! In my defense, this was a gift so technically, I didn't actually buy it.

Love my necklace, courtesy of my wonderful mother! It's from Bauble Bar which is one of my favorite sites to get jewelry from. If you haven't checked it out yet- go!Now!

They have anything and everything you could ever want and more! Thank me later :)

Cookies and Cream Popcorn

I recently made this cookies and cream popcorn as an end of the year treat for my co-workers and I'm wishing I made more to keep at home! I love a good no-bake dessert simply because it's incredibly easy and quick! I found used this three ingredient recipe from chef-in-training.com and I'm in love! Popcorn will never be the same!

Ingredients:
-9 cups popped popcorn
-20 finely crushed Oreos
-24 oz. white vanilla almond bark (I substituted white chocolate)

Directions:
1. Prepare popcorn.
2. Melt white chocolate according to package directions.
3. Drizzle chocolate on popcorn.
4. Sprinkle Oreos and mix evenly.
5. Let sit for 5 minutes and enjoy!

How to Make Store Bought Cookie Dough Taste Homemade

I don't always have time to whip up a fresh batch of cookies when I need them. I love frozen cookie dough and have an uncanny ability to identify which brand of cookie dough is used based off taste. I should probably quit my job and become a cookie dough taste tester. By simply adding in a few extra items, store bought cookie dough can taste like homemade cookies in no time!

Here's all you need:
-3 tbs brown sugar
-3 tbs softened butter
- 1 tps vanilla extract
-any other extras (white chocolate chips, candy, dried fruit, nuts, etc.)

Mix everything together and bake according to package.

Even this pro taste tester couldn't tell the difference! Super easy and delicious! Great way to fool your friends into thinking you're a pro baker!

(Double the ingredients if using two packages, as pictured.)
